Information and consents for the processing of personal data in accordance with Article 14 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (Regulation)

2. Purposes and legal basis of processing
The data are communicated by another data subject, User of Wetaxi, in order to allow you to take advantage of a ride: the legal basis of processing is art. 6.1.b) of the Regulations as the processing is necessary for the provision of the service. The provision of personal data for these purposes is optional but failure to provide it would make it impossible to respond to your request.

3. Types of Data
For the purpose of point 2, the Controller collects and processes a range of information about you, such as your first and last name, your cell phone number.

4. Methods of data processing
Data processing is carried out in the following ways: with the use of electronic tools, including online and by telematic means; or with paper-based methods. The timing of the processing respects the principle of necessity, with reference to the purposes of managing the service and any related obligations: in any case, your data will be stored on the Owner’s systems for a maximum period of 365 days.

5. Subjects to whom the data may be communicated or transmitted
Your data may be made known by the Data Controller to subjects specifically appointed as Data Processors or Persons in charge of the processing: among these subjects, we include, for example, the appointees of the individual points of sale where the data are collected, and the technology partners of the Data Controller. The list of additional Data Processors designated by the Data Controller is available from the Data Controller itself and can be requested by e-mail from: privacy privacy@wetaxi.it. Your data could be transferred abroad, to countries within the European Union or considered safe by the European Commission or, again, to countries outside the European Union and not included in the list of safe countries: in the latter case, we would provide in advance, with the individual entities that would process the data outside the EU, specific agreements for the protection of your privacy, containing the standard guarantee clauses indicated by the European Commission in its decision of February 5, 2010.

6. Exercise of the data subject’s rights
Pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, you have the right to request at any time, access to your personal data, rectification or deletion thereof, restriction of processing in the cases provided for in Article 18 of the Regulation, obtain in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the data concerning you, in the cases provided for in Article 20 of the Regulation. At any time, he/she has the possibility to revoke the consent given, in accordance with art. 7 of the Regulation; to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority ex art. 77 of the Regulation (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data), if he/she considers that the processing of his/her data is contrary to the legislation in force. You have the option of making a request to object to the processing of your data, pursuant to Article 21 of the Regulation in which you give evidence of the reasons justifying the objection: the Data Controller reserves the right to evaluate the request, which would not be accepted if there are compelling legitimate reasons to proceed with the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
